that's a tough question and i'm sure it's on a lot of people's minds. they say they just want to have nuclear energy, not weapons, but does anyone believe that? I don't. iran has said on more than one occasion that they would like to wipe israel off the map. if they get the nukes, they'll be able to make good on that threat. they'll nuke israel, israel will nuke them back and the whole middle east will become a radioactive wasteland. of course the fallout won't be contained there. the whole world will suffer from its effects. because of this, it falls on the whole world to prevent it. imagine what would have happened if hitler had gotten his hands on a nuclear weapon. the world can't afford to stay out of iran's business because detonating a nuclear weapon has global consequences. right now the US is not in a good place to lead a movement against iran. we've made a huge mess out of what was expected to be a quick, decisive victory in iraq. the world will not soon forget that so it will be up to some other country to get the ball rolling. if enough countries of the world took up the fight against iran's nuclear program, maybe iran would listen. the role of the US in that would not be as the leader. there are just too many hard feelings toward the US throughout the world, particularly the middle east, for any movement led by us to get widespread support.

The children that answer "leave them alone" need to read a little more history and look back at the examples of our past. President Tom of Iran is doing almost everything Hitler did before WWII. Maturity comes with time. Lord knows I need more time. We cant wait for the children to mature or we will all be gone.

Invade Iran and remove that jackass from power there, and while we're at it, we should go after Pakistan, Syria and Saudi Arabia as well. These nations cannot be trusted. They claim to be our "allies" but I'm sure they are harboring terrorists and should SUFFER THE CONSEQUENCES for aiding terrorism in ANY way.

They have already proven to the world they cannot be trusted when it comes to 'diplomatic negotiations', and of course they will make their bombs, because I believe they plan to use them...it's only a matter of time. I say we have the balls to do what we really need to do....stop their threats for good and blow them to kingdom come. If we don't they will.

They have right to do so whatsoever manner - whatever they think rights,their nuclear plants is not big enough or more advancement than the Korean, . to destroyed the whole world - compares to other european countries or Mr. bully. Most people seems to be more concern on muslim countries - inteads. DONT WORRY NO THREATS.

in the good old days with russia, we had hundereds of nukes oinded at each other, it worked pretty good as a deterrent, maybe we should do the same with IRAN, and let them know for every one of yours, a hundred of ours in return.
