Roddick is sick with it, but will get inconsistant when frustrated. He could beat Federer like next year, and hopfully does. I don't want Sampras's title to be broken by Federer, i just don't like him that much.

I can understand that you like Roddick, but it's a shame that you can't appreciate Federer more.
Roddick is a one-dimensional player. He's a server.
Fed is the most complete player currently, and he may be the most complete player ever. His shotmaking is brilliant, reminiscent of McEnroe.
If Mac says that Federer is the best player he's ever seen, that's good enough for me.
In 20 years, probably no one will remember Roddick, except he might have paved the way for newer players to serve 160-170 mph, making tennis EVEN MORE BORING.
If Fed gets to Pete's record, plus wins a French Open, he will be unquestionably the greatest ever.
Just something to think about the next time you watch Roddick play Federer.

Roddick beat Federer in 2003(or 2001?), check the youtube.com video. Roddick even hits a shot between his legs and still won the point. But it was a very close match. I want to see Taylor Dent, ha ha ha! I crack me up!

I wouldn't...it's great the way it is now. Andy is a one trick pony,
while Roger is multi-dimensional. He doesn't have the class of
Roger, and is a lesser player. Roger can win claycourt titles,
while Andy struggles there. Roger is superior to Andy as a
tennis player on every surface.
