You should use your best judgement. How cold is it? How long has he had it? Is he getting over it? How old is he? If you still aren't sure call his dr.

Depends on how bad the cold is and how old he is. I just wouldn't let anyone touch or kiss or hold him. I have a 6 year old daughter, and when she was a baby, I'd still take her out for quick errands if she had a cold, but if it was cold out, I'd bundle her up a lot. Trust your instincts, though. If you think he might get more sick, or if he has a fever, you'd probably better keep him indoors.

.only if you have to. not because your child could get worse, but it can spread the cold. some babies, elderly, and kids can't take being sick with a low immune system. Mine can't, but they may get the cold from somewhere else too so wash hands

If he has a fever and is just miserable, keep him home. Otherwise, if he's just a little congested but otherwise okay, take him out - just don't let others handle him.
