The holidays bring a sort of magic to everyday life - I love coming home to a lit up Christmas tree with beautiful gifts wrapped underneath it...I love going through neighborhoods where every home is decorated....but this year, it is also a sad time because my mother in law passed away 3 months ago - this time last year she was here and it is just weird to know that in one year's time -gone! She loved Christmas too so I hope her spirit celebrates it year round now. I miss her so much!!

Well, the road to Christmas gets longer and longer every year (did you notice the commercials came on right after Halloween this year?) and don't get me wrong, I LOVE Chistmas music, but by the time Christmas gets here, I'm foaming at the mouth because that ALL any station plays!! I guess you could say that the COMMERCIALIZATION of the holiday makes me sick...it's no longer about time honored traditions, it's more about what you buy, and that makes me sad.

My god, yo, I get so angry. I hear Christmas music and I throw fits. I started a small fight outside a Macy's once... In retrospect, it was kinda hilarious, so I guess I wasn't so upset about it. lol

happy and sad.
Happy - It's a time when you get to party a lot, be with friends, your loved one, and family, gifts, money, shopping, dressing up.
Sad - They didn't turn out the way you planned them to be.

but christmas for me is a lonely occasion, it was when my mom died and now i am far away from home....it'll be lonely for sure, and i guess i'll be spending my xmas eve here on yahoo answers!!!!
