Many good passers out there in the NFL and college. Why be hampered by a guy who cannot get the job done. Atlanta will NEVER get to a super bowl with Vick.

Ashley Lelie went from a pass orientated offense in Denver to one that is based more on the run in Atlanta because he felt that he should have been the number one reciever. I bet he's getting a lot of catches now. Vick is an "Okay" qb who is a better runner then he ever will be a passer. Remember Randal Cunningham? I can't recall how much superbowl victories he had, oh right, he didn't have any. It's nice to be a scrambling QB in the NFL, but you also have to have an arm to go with it. Take HOF Steve Young. He could scramble and still had a arm that produced yards and TD's. Vick only has the legs, not the arm.

For a guy with such a good arm, Vick is a pathetic passer. All teams have to do against the Falcons is put 8 in the box and stuff the run. I have a feeling that the Falcons will get rid of Vick and play Schaub next season unless they make the playoffs this season.

Thing is there are two good quarterback potential in the '08 draft coming down the pike. Troy Smith and Brady Quinn...heard this morning that Quinn is predicted to go in the top 15, while Smith might last until the second round....there are two options.

Then there is free agency or trade markets for a vet...a little murkier as it is likely the best vet available, potentially, in the offseason will be one Jake Plummer.

That doesn't sound good until you consider that Lelie, one of Plummer's favorite targets from previous years is already on the Falcon roster. As one who watches the Broncos, I have to think that might be the change that has thrown Plummer into this year's slump...

Vick is not a terrible quarterback. He is a good quarterback. He is a great athlete. He is a play maker. So what is the best way to get your play maker the ball? Put him as the quarterback. With out Vick Atlanta would not have as good of a record as the do now.

I would not say Vick is a bad as Stewart, but I do think that the honeymoon period should be over. Let's not oh and awe over his quick feet, we all knew he had that. Let's makes him a quality passer or move on.

He has not show the decision making ability to play in the west coast, or the touch to play in the down the field passing. what is left?

Compare Vicks winning pct to every current QB in the league and report back!

There is no way in hell the Falcons will get Quinn, top 15?? no way, he will be gone in the top 5.

let me tell you something michael vick sucks as a q b and would make a great runningback if he bulked up a little bit more they should use him in the backfield and split carries with warrick dunn jerrious norwood and michael vick and use matt schaub at qb and that might help them more then vick at qb

they also wont win with their receivers..they drop more balls than TO..which is a lot...i dont think vick is a great qb at all..runs way too much, but that can be due to his receivers not being good enough to spread the defense..notice is main target is alge crumpler who probably remains not covered most of the time

There are many problems with the Falcons. Their offensive line sucks and the defense isn't much better. It's not all Vick's fault.

You are right. Everyone talks about defense and other things winning superbowls, but you still need a good QB to win it for you. Chicago has the same problem now. They will NOT win or even make it to the Superbowl with Grossman at QB. I cant imagine what the Cowboys defense will do to him.
