What is the best way to get from chicago union station to the palmer house with 4 kids (1-10yrs) and 6 adults one elderly?

10 people would mean 3 cabs...maybe a fourth! Before boarding your train, call the Palmer House. This is a 4 star hotel. Ask for the concierge who should arrange for transportation to meet you.

Just call the hotel and tell them that you've arrived. They'll send a shuttle.
