I have no other signs, but am having very thick brown discharge, and not signs of red/pink/blood the couple days my period is supposed to begin? The last time I had sex was on Nov. 17, around 17-18 days ago. Is it possible that this is a sign of implantation bleeding? I thought this occurred around 6-10 days after conception. I also took a test this morning and it came back negative? Could it be too early to test?

That might be left over blood clots from your last period that never came out. I do not remember having that when I was pregnant. Call your OBGYN just in case though.

I had pink blood accompanied through brown discharge at 6 weeks. I went to get checked and each thing replaced into wonderful. The record advised me that see you later because that's no longer severe bright pink blood then that's common. Brown discharge is basically 'leftovers'.

You can take an at home test 19 days after the day you think you became pregnant.
A blood test will show if you are pregnant or not 7 days following conception.

Brown blood is old blood. Not trying to scare you but when i was having brown blood i was miscarrying but it was followed by red blood and pains in my back & belly.

See a doctor and good luck

Are you certain that this is an actual discharge, or that it is simply blood that is in small amounts (which usually appears dark on tissue paper or on sanitary towels). Red blood turns to brown incredibly fast so do not panic.

If an actual proper discharge is coming through, it may be worth seeing your doctor, of if you are embarrassed, you can make an appointment at your nearest sexual health clinic.

your best bet is to call your OBGYN. it could be a bacterial infection or just you body "cleaning"out your vaginal canal. dont get stressed about it until after you see your doctor. everything will be ok!!

If you're worried, go to your OB-GYN. It's probably too soon for a positive test to show, though.

sounds like you need to shut down your computer and go see a doctor, getting advice for something like that on here isn't going to fully answer your question.....go see what's wrong with you, if anything, better to know for sure than to be guessing..

Could also be bacterial vaginosis.
