when I try to start. Lights work, good voltage, starter not turning at all just "click"

While it's possible that a brand new battery might be bad right from the store, it's not probable. Next step will be to pull the starter and take it in to be checked. If that isn't the problem, you really don't want to think about what the next step will be -- besides, your engine probably would not run fine one day and then seize up the next anyway.

Check the cable connection at the starter. It must be clean and tight. Then, if it still don't roll over, cross the starter solonoid with a pair of pliers. If this works then replace the starter solonoid. If it don't work then replace the starter.

their is a loose or corded battery cable
