Teary Eyed Jane - How on earth could me being concerned about hair loss be me wanting to look and act like a celebrity? Am not on yahoo asking what foundation/lip liner/eye liner some celeb is using like these people am talking about. I was merely asking if other people had suffered hairloss because of anemia. Obviously i wont be happy about it..who would be happy with hairloss? Dont try to put me in the same boat as these saddos who ask every single detail - brand of makeup/colour of foundation of people they want to look like. Okay they might not be happy with themselves but completely copying someone elses look is just sad

I believe that some people want to feel that specialness that celebrities feel. I mean sometimes people can't come up with their own ideas on how to look so they steal other people's. Not necessary celebrities but people in general. Really if you think about it I have been looking for a hairstyle for a while now that I can totally make work with my own uniqueness. Anyway a lot of the pictures I try and find of hairstyles are celebrities. No wonder people want to look like them when really that's all that is being pushed in our faces, and that's all that people see. On the news, in magazines, ect. THat is all we ever really see.

That's empty people who don't, and can't, have a personality for their own, so they have to mimic other people to exist in this world. You can sum them with the ones who adores fashion, plastic surgeries, extreme diets nor exercises, etc. These kind of people are so empty and their point of view is so stretch that they have to concentrate their selves in just material things, but the really bad thing is that when many of them finally open their eyes is too late to get what's gone for ever and the time left isn't enough for a new beginning.

The three most common reasons why people want to look like celebrities are quite simple.

1) The person is not satisfied with their looks.
2) They have a desire to be famous
3) Envy of a paticular celebrity

All three reasons are absurd, yet related. If you do the best to make yourself presentable, then chances are you'll feel good about yourself. If you fell good about yourself, chances are you won't feel the need to be famous. If you don't fell the need to be famous, you probably won't feel the need to "envy" a celebrity.
Don't get me wrong. It's okay to like certain things about celebrities, but envy (of anybody) is the start of taking that admiration to extreme levels.

everyone wants that perfect celebrity body. come on, think about it. theres something about yourself you would love to have look different. a part of you, to look just like a celebrity. if you dont like it, dont look at the beauty section. it is kinda dissapointing that people cant happy and confident in their body image, but with all the pressures from the media, its easy to believe.

you answered your own question, and don't criticize them for it, help them they need some self-esteem classes or some type of motivational skills to boost their likeness in themselves. That is a sad epidemic happening today with our youth and that is why we have Paris, Lindsay, Brittney, doing these drastic stunts because they need attention and want to be liked. everdently their parents screwed up at home, and the people on yahoo who wants to look like these celebs are going through the same mental fight to actually embrace themselves and love themselves for who they are. So yes, they are not happy with themselves, and why are they like that is because of their self-esteem battles and not feeling like they are liked appreciated etc.

Young teens. Oh and women who are insecure. Basically people with no minds of their own or self style.

I agree....but in a way neither are you....you seem to care immensely that some of your hair has fallen out and haven't learned to love that.... Not trying to be mean, just pointing out the obvious.
