The metal ones don't use plastic!!!!!! You can slightly warm the metal ones for a better curl!!!!!......***NOT TO HOT U MAY BURN URSELF***

If you want to curl them to perfection Ruby & Millie do a great heated curlers that don't involve clamping your eyeballs near heated metal. They also allow you to curl the entire lash, not just the root. You can pick them up in the larger Boots stores for less that £20. (Instructions included!)
If you're going for the cold curl again Ruby & Millie do a plastic eyelash curler. I'm sure I heard somewhere that the metal ones can break your lashes.
