LOL! Its the fight or flight reaction, doncha know? If they wanted the guests to stay onstage, they'd be called "Jerry Springer." The cameramen are all children of dermatologists obsessed with skincare. Their moms are watching!

Even better question: why is the audience ALWAYS shocked when they find out someone on stage has been cheating, or when the results come back negative. Hello? Shouldn't you expect all of that when you go on the Maury show? But anyway. The camera works is probably designed to be as invasive and "up close and personal" as possible. I think I need to stop watching trash TV.

I don't know about all that but I want to know why these people have to go on to these shows to find out who the daddy is? Go and do it in private! + most of these women once they find out the guy is the father don't want him to have any contact with the kid. WHAT!? If you want him to be proven to be the father and you did that because you want him to pay child support then he has every right to want to see the kid now. If you can't stand the guy and you want him to have nothing to do with the kid then you cant bring him on national TV and prove he is and expect him to pay and not see! These people are trash and only go on TV to back to their trailer homes and show everyone they were on TV. They make me angry! Why does God give these morons kids in when there are people out there who would die for one and cant have them! Ok I think I am done ranting lol.

The women run, thinking they will escape the cameras, not remembering they agreed to be on an inhumane show and air their embarrassments for the entire world to see.
The people in the audience forgot they could be seen too. :)

I have no clue- I would think it is embarrassisng enough to go on TV saying you don't know who the father of your child is.
