Current guidelines say babies shouldn't start weaning until 5 or six months. Topping up breast feeds with formula will be fine for a month or so yet. When you do start weaning, try bland puree-ed veg. Avoid fruit for now as this may encourage a sweet tooth, which won't help you at all.

Ok you need to rephrase that, because I can not understand what you are talking about.

If you are asking what your baby needs to eat besides breastmilk or formula the answer is NOTHING! If you are asking if your breastfed baby needs bottles the answer is NO!

You should not start solids until 6 months at the earliest and even then it isn't necessary for nutrition, it is just for learning. So you don't need to worry if your baby isn't interested. Just wait until your baby is interested. Doctors are telling some parents with a history of food allergies to give only breastmilk until age 1.

You can supplement with some cereal - my kids loved it. Perhaps you should be getting some advise from your family doctor, or purchase a baby book.

start him on some baby cereal that you'll mix with his milk and try baby food such as bananas, peaches, apples basically fruits. my daughter started cereal at 3 months because she wasn't staying full.
