Please, help me, girls. I am totally confused-- I am at least 6 days late on my period (as max 10 days late).I have some symptoms as dizziness, sore nipples, fatigue, light-head and so on. Today in the morning I used e.p.t. pregnancy test (with +/- results) and I got "-". But still there is no period. And I do feel weird. Can it be that with 6 days delay my body hasn't caught up enough harmone to show on the test? I have at home First Responce test too and I will use it by the end of the week if nothing will arrive earlier. But I am really confused. I thought that by this time there should be enough harmone.... Please, help me to figure this out... Thanks in advance to all who give mature advice.

It could also be a false positive test. If I were you stop worrying and wait until you missed your period by two weeks then take one. I always used clearblueeasy digital i found out 6 days BEFORE my missed period and 4 days before on my first child... Good luck

I say take the other test when you plan too and if it still says negative, but you still have these symptoms, go to your doctor and have him or her do a blood test. It could just be that the home pregnancy tests are faulty, which happens a lot. Also, stress can make you miss a period completely for the month. If your still worried after this second test, go to your doctor.

I know you asked for advice from the ladies. But, I would like to help you. Simply put, consult the doctor immediately. Your concern is obviously worrying you sick. Anxiety is not healthy for you (and your child, if you are indeed pregant). My ex-girlfriend worried herslef to death not knowing if she was pregnant, she was afraid to take the EPT test. She had several anxiety attacks in the process. The good news was she was simply late on her period. Best of luck to you!

I think I would retest later. All the symptoms you list could be PMS, but with you being late as well, maybe that brand test doesn't detect the amount of hormone you may have.

I would try just one more test and then if you still get a negative then you probably are not pregnant. If you are still unsure about test#2 then i would schedule a doc. appt.
