write out the electron dot structure of NOCl, then circle and clearly label the lone pair and the two sigma pairs on the nitrogen atom. What is the molecular geometry around the nitrogen atom.

I don't know the term 'sigma pair', but I'll assume it is the same as the 'sigma bond' that I learned. The first would be the bond (line) between N and Cl, and the second is one of the bonds (lines) between N and O (you can pick either one). The other bond between N and O is a pi bond.

And the geometry would be angular, sort of a V shape with an obtuse angle (hopefully you don't need to have the angle, as it's been far to long for me to remember that).
