Ultrasounds will give you a good idea of how far you are, but they aren't 100% accurate. Your period if it was light could have been breakthrough bleeding.

You need to only count back 12 weeks (the extra 2 weeks is when you ovulated)

An ultrasound is pretty accurate!

You can conceive from sex right away or until the egg dies. I think the egg usually live like 3 days....you may want to look that up though cause I'm not sure. I know sperm can live 3-5 days!

Congrats on the pregnancy!

babies measure different, so maybe your baby is measuring a bit big, Next they also include the 2 weeks before you were pregnant, So meaning if the tech said you were 14 weeks, youve really been pregnant only about 12 weeks......:) Its usually about 14 days after the first day of your period that you conceive. The scan can be 2 weeks sooner or later, and sometimes even more than that lol. Its just measuring the baby and babies can vary alot. GOODLUCK to you :)

14 weeks includes the two weeks before you actually got pregnant, that is why it says you got pregnant on the start day of your period. From what I understand it is very accurate. Good luck and congrats

14 weeks is 14 weeks from your LMP not 14 weeks since conception.

It is 12 weeks actual gestational age(since conception), but generally they always give weeks in the since LMP form just so people don't get confused. ;-) Not that it helps.
