Imagine Bernie Kosar on the sidelines....he should grow out the curley mullet that used to stick out of his helmet.....he could probably use the mullet as leverage to sweeten his deal..."Ill coach for you guys, and for some extra cash, ill even grow back my cleveland browns mullet!"

I heard it on Mike and Mike in the morning ESPN radio (but on tv)

I cannot understand how Miami would consider Kosar for a head coaching job since he has no experience. Perhaps a quarterback coach and then learn from there. If Miami gives Kosar the job then they are pretty desperate.

Kosar is a smart guy, but I think M&M might have been joking. Regardless, I think that he could handle the offensive coord. position, but not head coach. You need a real motivator at the helm, and I never saw that in Bernie when he played. Maybe that has changed.

He might be able to bring some discipline and respectability back to the team, which is what they need the most.

I met Bernie Kosar at a charity golf event one time and he was one of the nicest guys there. He was an altar boy for the priest that married my wife and I too (no altar boy-priest jokes please).

Sounds more rumor than truth as Bernie has no coaching experience I don't see a program like Miami hiring him.
