Yes and no, in that order. I'm in awe when I think of the joining of soul and physical being. Everything from complex logical thinking to being touched by a baby's smile. I do think individuals are individually amazing. But the human race as a whole is a contradiction...these amazing individuals have collectively taken a step backwards, with messed up governments, abusing each other, destroying the environment. Our society doesn't reflect how amazing we truly are, and it's keeping individuals from realizing their potential. And I don't see any forthcoming improvement.

Humans are amazing. The human race is deteriorating.

In order to get through the madness of this worl you have to learn to be grateful for just another day of exploring the unexplorable.
Its cliche but its true.

Too many opportunities to get yourself down on.

Oh, lost my job -- well time to get another one.
Oh lost my girl -- time to get another one.

To be able to go out and meet someone new, learn something new, start a business today, help someone out today, make a difference in someones life, or just sit back and enjoy your family, friends a walk with the dog in the park, or go see whats at the other end of that hill, or to go drive to somewhere to a restaurant you never eaten before.

To cook for someone, to offer a meal to someone ans see their gratitude, to cook something you never tried before..to take up cooking, to go play paintballs, to go water skiing.
To chuck away tomorrow and live in the now, letting tomorrow take care of itself.

Everyone needs that sometimes, because its a freedom that takes away the daily grind.
Problem is most people dont do that, and their lives would benefit greatly from it.
So, hopefully in having that mentaility best you can do is hope to be contagious to others.

Yes, I feel elated to have such a wonderful life, though I soon realise that even cockroaches have!!

Yes, I find the whole human race unbelievably amazing........... so much intelligence, such high ambitions, so very imaginative, such wonderful creativity and yet no wisdom, no direction or purpose and no ability to learn lessons from past follies.

Every coin has two opposite sides!!

Yes, and I am grateful for my life everyday.

And, yes, in spite of what others may think, the entire human race is still amazing. Just look around. If you look closely enough, you will find the reason to say that, yes, amazing things still happen and we shouldn't lose hope in humanity.

EVERYDAY. Bad points; good points - it's who we are as a whole. It's a great race and the best part is the sun shining on your face! :)
