GO FOR IT, JONI!
44 wasn't too old for my career change, and, as you know, I'm happier than ever.
And I know that the career you're considering would be a great source of satisfaction for you.
Keep me posted.

Absolutely not! My mother just turned 52 and acquired her nursing liscense a few months ago. I couldn't be more proud of her. Age is truly just a number and regardless of how and when you decide to change, as long as you know it's for the better (being mature you definately know this) then there is no reason NOT to go for what you want in life. Best wishes! :)

No, especially if the employer will pay for it. People are living longer now, you could spend 20 years in the new career and still enjoy a lengthy retirement.

No. One is never too old for a career change especially this one where the 2-year education expenses will be paid for by your employer.

Never allow age to be a factor for aiming high.
