In a motel room in Oxnard, Ca...watching incredulously how the media hounded her to her death....
With my kids, in Canoga Park, Ca...giving thanks it was not us along those coastlines...

When Diana died, I was up all night doing some paper work, the TV was on and I heard a news flash around 2-3am.
The Tsunami, i had just turned on the TV and again it was on a news flash, when the pictures came through, I was horrified.

i was a sleep and when I woke up I turn on the TV and an new reporter said Princess Diana as Died 2 At Home

I was about to go bed when I flipped on Sky News and saw a newsflash about the crash in Paris. It said Dodi was dead and Diana was injured. Next thing, I wake up on the sofa and it's morning. I flipped on the tv and there it is in: "Diana, Princess of Wales is dead." I just drowsily sat there drinking in the information. It was hard to believe that a young, good-looking woman like her was gone.
The tsunami, I was in my house relaxing when I heard about it.

when diana died i was with my mum as it was her birthday and the tsunami i was round my dads as we have our xmas on boxing day with him

1) camping - we heard the news through a radio report on our way home
2) interning in a third grade city school classroom - the kids were amazing, wanting to help....they did a readathon with sponors to riase money to donate!
