I'm new to wordpress and while I managed to succesfully install it, I can't seem to figure out much about changing the look of it. I also taught myself how to install new themes I got off the net, but what I really want to know for starters, is how to insert my logo at the top of the page. I know there are plenty of guides on the net, but none of them are easy to follow, as I'm used to using dreamweaver and have little to no knowledge of html, php, etc...Any help would be appreciated.

First make a copy of your header so if you mess it up, you can start over. Open the header in Dreamweaver, and in code mode, delete the string with $blogtitle$ or whatever if you don't want it there, and change the code around to look something like this
<]?php include(TEMPLATEPATH."/variable.php"); ?]>

You don't need to know html or php, if I'm not mistaken, you only need to use css to change the outlook of your wordpress. You could try:: http://www.w3schools.com/myfirst/css00.asp
they have pretty easy to understand tutorials =)
