Kevin Smith is my favorite director! I love the View Askewniverse! My favorites list is: Mallrats, Chasing Amy, Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back, Dogma, Clerks II, Clerks, and Jersey Girl. I love Mallrats so much that I have thought about making my own Prequel entitled Mallrats: Genesis! It would be the story of how Brodie and T.S. met their respective others Rene and Brandi! So, Yes I love his work and I look forward to seeing more of his work in the future!

Havn't seen Clerks 2 yet but I have seen all the others. Didn't think much of Jay And Silent Bob Strike Back but thought Mallrats and Chasing Amy were brilliant. There's something different about his films which bring the most outlandish situations into the most mundane settings.

I adore Kevin Smith. You forgot about Jersey Girl... but that's sortof understandable since it was not Kevin Smith at his best, was it? And as for Jay and Silent Bob, you must mean the movie JAY AND SILENT BOB STRIKE BACK...

I'm obsessed with Kevin Smith. I wanted to name my son Brody. My husband said it sounded like a dog's name. Clerks 2 was pretty good.... I laughed about the guy not having sex until the girl peed out the troll. LOL!!!
My favorite Kevin Smith movie is Chasing Amy.

I think Kevin Smith is a genius. I got hooked on his films in college when I was taking a screenplay writing class. He has superb dialogue, a natural wit, and the ability to turn even the most mundane situations into interesting ones.

I loved all his movies, and I even forgave him for Jersey Girl because I think it just reflected the time in his life (marriage, fatherhood, etc). It wasn't terrible, but it wasn't his best.

Ali Larter was born when Kevin Smith was 5 years old. So, no. "Alison Elizabeth Larter (born February 28, 1976) is an American actress and former fashion model." "Kevin Patrick Smith (born August 2, 1970) is an American screenwriter, film director, and the founder of View Askew Productions."

I love them! Haven't seen clerks 2 yet is it good? Dogma nearly made me religious. It was the only thing at the time, that shared my belief and understanding on the spiritual debate. It also kind of answered some things. I am still not religious though.

i am a big fan and his dialogues just get better each time you watch his fils, like Mallrats, C.Amy and Clerks.
went to see his last one: Clercks 2 and although i thought the lines were weaker(maybe the fact that i hadnt' seen any of the Rings Films,- i tried but fell asleep-didn'thelp me get the "walk "jokes.), i still think it had some genius situations.... (donkey anyone?)
Affleck popping in was cool too, so was Lee's.
i thought the wedding storyline and that skinny actress let the film down.do you agree?

He's, in fact, made more than six films, though ones you list may be best known and are sort of a series. Though I'm not in his demographic -- my adult children are -- I appreciate and enjoy his work.
Some of his other films are a bit different from the "Clerks" et. alt. series -- e.g., "Jersey Girl" -- showing more of his range. To date, he's written the scripts for 17 films, directed 12 and produced 18. These numbers incl. one just going into production.
