Speaking as a liberal and as a civilian contractor working ISO Operation Enduring Freedom in Afghanistan, I can tell you that the soldiers I work with every day didn't get one, even though the E4's and below qualify for food stamps. You call yourself a conservative, can you in good conscience tell me that the top 1 percent of the population need that tax money they don't have to pay more than the Specialist that just got back to his wife and kids, and can't afford food? Unfair tax breaks for the wealthy is in effect corporate welfare. So ask yourself: ""How long can I keep up the charade?" We're not fooled.
