All the hotels will up their prices for New Year like they do Xmas. If you can't afford to share a room with friends, then it might be worth staying in your home area for New Year cos you are not gonna find anything in your budget. Sorry....... :(

I don't think there are any reasonable priced hotels in Central London on New Year's Eve. You probably have to stay a bit outside Central London, where public transportation is easily accessible. I recommend you check out www.excelloz.com for hotels in London and prices of hotels. You can also read some travel reviews.

I like the Strand Palace Hotel. It's very central in Covent Garden and has hundreds of rooms very reasonably priced.

you'll war even and not using a dogs. London is the capital of the international, shown, each and anybody knocks it, yet all of them opt for a number of it. carry about the thumbs down (probably northerners, operating in London)

I'd suggest the Regent's Palace Hotel opposite Eros in Piccadilly Circus. (P.S. Lara, I've just said 'snap' first!).
