People will do what they can to stand out!! It is the same reason animals do mating dances; puff up and shake the feathers..to attract attention. Looks stupid to those not interested but someone is watching and indeed interested.

Because they can go to a Xmas party and look pretty. Then annoy there boyfriend for months to come as he goes to work looking a bit sparkly because they didn't wash it off before they went to bed. She is now an ex.

Glittery eyeshadow and a hint of it in your lipgloss is fine, or on your clothes/shoes.
but on your body or hair, its looks tacky.....you can only get away with it if your below 16!!
Now body shimmer, that is good!!

i don't like body glitter i think it's for younger girls, i like body shimmer as it gives you a glow.

everyone wants to shine sometimes and the gliter is the way to do this... and put it on the neck opening it becomes very sexy
