Yes, the game is worth it.
There are many variations out there in the computer game market; and all of them have one underlying theme..... a small band of heroes attempting to right a bigger injustice.
Most concentrate on the tactical side of the equation and some have a very good interface allowing for individual tactics to be employed.
Guard your "ranged characters"; magicians, priests, and bowmen from the hand-to-hand opponents with a shield-wall of sword swingers.... develop 'specialty characters to do minor tasks such as sneaking or finding traps or just doing what they do better...

WOW! I've not heard the name Dungeon & Dragons for ages. It was fun. I liked it, but man...$16. You can probably find someone to give it to you. It's so old...

i play d&d, i like it! but i need to find a new DM the one i got is my dad and he gets all butt hurt if i don't play it his way its dumb..... but yeah i don't kno ne games for $16.00......wait you mean computer games right? if not you can go to your hobby stores to get the role playing game. or go to your game stop and i like Heros for the x-box.
