I am 17 wks and 6 days and I still have cramps every now and then. To me it feels just like period cramps, the very subtle dull pain that kind of makes you stop what you are doing and take a breath. There was also a different type of pain I got which wasn't like a cramp but like I pulled a muscle type of pain(i guess) and it was like around my hip bones...i think that type is what one of these people called the round ligament. I don't know but it only happened maybe 3 times...the cramps happen more to me than that type of pain. This is my 2nd, so I know its the uterus stretching....But then again I also read it could be Braxton hicks, but which those you dont feel pain, you just pretty much feel the uterus tighten(and you can normally see it too), but they aren't supposed to hurt.

Light cramping and/or a pulling feeling in your sides is normal. it is round ligament pain. I am 14 weeks and still cramp a little from time to time.It has only started getting better in the last week or so. I know it is scary, when people speak about pregnancy they never tell you it is painful..lol. As long as you are not bleeding you are fine.

It's normal. I experienced the same thing. Most likely it's round ligament pains. As your uterus grows, it no longer fits in the original slot that it sits in, as it rotates and pushes outward, the ligaments that hold it in place stretch to accomodate it. Occasionally this causes round ligament pain. As long as the pains are lasting a few moments, adjusting your position helps, etc.. you're probably fine. But, talking to the doc on your next visit wouldn't hurt, just to be sure. :)

It depends on what type of pain your getting and how severe it is, you dont say. Personally if you've asked the question on here, then you are worried about it and as the 1st few month are the most delicate, you should go to see your Doctor.

Where are these pains exactly? With my second pregnancy, I cramped until I was about 4 months pregnant, but it wasn't anything serious. Also, are you having intercourse? It is normal to cramp like you're on your period after intercourse. I asked my doctor, and he said it was perfectly normal. However, if you experience any spotting at all with these pains, CALL YOUR DOCTOR!

is it like cramping pains, like period pains because if it is it's more than likely that it's just you're uterus stretching, I've got those pains Manley to one side and that is what the doctor told me. if you're worried ring up your doctors. xx
