Say you are married and love your partner and family very much.
And yet whenever you meet someone goodlooking and attractive, you find yourself trying to impress this new person to have his/her attention. You even might find yourself sometimes thinking about this person and then after some time you forget everything about him/her.
Does this happen to you? Is this considerd like cheating your partner?

This could mean u are not feeling wanted or attractive by your spouse like u used to. I know u love your spouse and family but sometimes we feel the need to know we are attractive to others. It is a definite sign that our needs are not being met anymore and that is where the danger can come in. Happy, fulfilled people don't have affairs.........they have them to have some type of need filled, whether it be physical or emotional. I think u should try to spice things up in your marriage, talk to your spouse, get back to those feelings of excitement and newness u used to have for each other. A good marriage (which it sounds like u have) can accomplish this no problem. Remember it's ok to find other people attractive, but it's when u try to impress them and start thinking about them that the trouble starts. Good luck and I wish u all the best in your marriage. :-)

Just say it exactly as you've said it here. I understand the being made fun of part, I had that too and it made me into a very quiet and serious person. Whenever someone judged me or what I like, I used to think I was an idiot for being me. Then I found this quote on the internet and it is undeniably true. "People who judge don't matter, and those that do don't judge." Don't give up, there is so much more to life than this.

Hey! being on a diet doesn't mean you can't see the menu!!!
I once went on a diet, of course eating cake was forbidden. But, whenever I saw a delicious fluffly chocolate cake... gee! I wished I could have a slice. Wishing is not cheating...cheating is when you fall into temptartion.
This world is full of temptations. It is not about not feeling tempted, but about how well you can resist temptations.
Don't be so hard on yourself. I bet that whenever your partner sees a gorgeous person of the opposite sex, he also fantasizes.
If it would't be like that, Hugh Hefner wouldn't have made such a succesfull emporium with Playboy Magazzine, which is all about fantasizing with gorgeous women. Right?

We all find others attractive at one time or another. If you do not act on these feelings then there is nothing to fret over. It is not cheating unless you go further than just thinking about that person. Since the feeling goes away soon it is just an infatuation.

Hey, yes it does happen to people so dont think you are weird. It happens when you are attracted to that person and the reason why it is scary atimes is that you dont know anything about that person. Yet, you feel butterflies in your belly just by looking at him and then imagining being wih him. Whenever you feel like that, remember why you decided to spend your life with the man, whose your husband. That nothing like getting married to the perfect man of woman because you'll hardly find the complete package in one person. Therefore, when we see those "rare" qualities in someone else, we tend to get attracted to that person.

I think there is nothing wrong on being attracted to another but trying to impress them is somewhat out of line. It is not uncommon that you may have a passing thought or two for a short period of time but I don't find that to be cheating or adultery.

This is a serious problem, and I consider it cheating on your partner. Perhaps you're not as much in love as you want to believe. When you love someone, there isn't anyone else that you dwell on. You might want to re-evaluate your feelings for your partner, and your current situation. Perhaps there's something more going on here. Good luck!

You know everybody would eventually see somebody that they admire this is practically second nature to us.
It just the way we are but as responsible adults we have to know how to restrain ourselves to avoid to hurting the one that really matters to us.
