Who do you think will get the final two spots, assuming the fight still remains between Carolina, NY, Atlanta, and Philly? Why?

i guess rex doesnt realize carolina may be the most lost out of the whole group...ball inside the 10, two timeouts, 1st down, less than a minute less...so lets pass the ball into the end zone with delhomme who has been horrendous all game

Do we all remember tha Atlanta team in the beggining of the year? Well, it's gone. Atlanta is falling apart and they will fall out of the wildcard race early, Mike Vick just isn't a leader.

Carolina, at the beggining of the year, stunk. They didnt have Steve Smith so Delhomme couldn't do anything.Steve Smith came and they were good. But then they started losing in the 4th quarter. They are the whiniest team in the NFL. after watching the monday night game i really do beleive that. If the giants manage to get back to where they belong, carolina doesn't have a shot. But if the giants play like theyve been playing, carolina will make it. The Eagles are coming back from a good then bad then good then bad then o.k. then horrible season. They have a tough schedule with @wash,@nyg,@dal.and then v.s. atlanta, which isnt gonna be that tough. My picks for the wild card are...................... PHILLY AND NEW YORK

The Giants and the Panthers. The Giants and the panthers both have better alround talent levels than the Falcons and the Eagles. It's just that there defences are struggling at the moment. The only problem is that they face each other this Sunday so they will have to end up making the postseason on a tie breaker or 2. If the Panthers beat the Giants and then the Giants beat the Eagles and the teams end up on the same record then the Giants would hold the head to head tiebreaker over the Eagles and Falcons. If the Giants win then things get a bit more complecated. We will have to wait and see how it all pans out.

Atlanta is gaining momentum, regrouping to beat Washington when down 14-0 to come back to 24-14. They've gotten back Abraham and Hartwell and Vick is beginning to call his own plays and take the games on his back. They will definitely get in.

Carolina has lost more games after being up going into the fourth quarter. They play too much streetball and can't seem to get it together as a team. Atlanta has beaten them once and will beat them again in the Dome on Christmas Eve which will defintely put them out of contention.

The Giants are absolutely lost and the wheels have come off at here at the end of the season. Eli is playing poorly and there is too much individualism on the "team." I don't see them getting in with an 8-8 record.

Look for Philly to be the big surprise. They play Washington this weekend and can definitely win. Garcia still has what it takes and looks good coming off the bench. He has a lot to prove in regaining his 3x Pro Bowl form. They will be in.

So look for the Falcons to finish strong with a 9-7 or even 10-6 record and take a spot. Philly edges in to take the final.

Remember, strong December play in the NFL decides the playoffs. It's not how you start the season, it's how you finish it.

After glancing at the remaining schedules, I'm thinking the Eagles have the best chance of the four off the top.

Simply put, I think Garcia...a championship quarterback in the CFL so the guy is no slouch...is an awfully good replacement for McNabb at the moment. Garcia could help this team Cinderella its way deeper into the playoffs than most would expect.

Second, it comes down to which of the other three teams doesn't implode as badly as the others. With the schedules, if any, I think its the Giants sneaking in by the hair on their chins.

That being said, it would not surprise me if the Vikings were to step up and pass all three of these as well.

The wheels are coming off in NY, and the Falcons are too inconsistent. Michael Vick might be the most overrated player in NFL history.

Philly is starting to come to life, and Carolina could squeak in. I'll say Eagles and Panthers.

I know philly played well the other night, but with their remaining sched and lack of mcnabb, I just cant seem then making a wild card slot. Carolina and the Giants would be my picks.

Carolina and Atlanta, they both always seem to have a strong second half. Wait for these two juggernauts to break loose.
