have you ever entered or exited a restaurant, bathroom, store or any public place and held the door for other strangers and some of them don't say "Thank You"
If someone doesn't say thank you, I say out loud "YOU"RE WELCOME!"

And when I say "YOU'RE WELCOME" most of them turn around and say "Oh thank you" but a few of them will give me a weird look and I've made a few people jump.

I do not have to hold the door. I can hold the door for myself and let it hit other people. But I am nice and yes it bothers me that some people don't say thank you. That's why I snap and say "You're Welcome"

people who open doors for other people have feelings too. And it doesn't take a long time to say "Thank you".

Oh yeah..all the time.......they act like it's my job to hold the door for them.....

But I do it anyway, not for the gratitude, but because it's how I was raised.......and if they don't say thanks, well, the KARMA BUS will take care of it, you know?

A creepy previous woman tried to kidnap her, so she ran away screaming STRANGER chance! the subsequent day I went with my mom to the food market... I wandered over to a shelf with sweet and that i picked up a chocolate bar or some thing, then an previous woman chuckled and requested if my mom replaced into letting me get that. My eyes were given all wide and that i screamed STRANGER chance on the properly of my lungs and chucked the chocolate bar at her head. I wasn't allowed to visual show unit television for a week after that... I nonetheless blame those instructors although... >:(

lol yes, or if you let someone who is driving out into the street or let them get over because their dumb a^s is in the wrong lane and they dont throw up their hand to say thanks, i hate that. It's like they seem to think that it was something that you were suppose to do anyway so why say thanks. And yes i use to say "you're Welcome when i hold the door open and they dont acknowledge it but i stopped doing that. People are crazy and looking for any excuse to shoot somebody.

Open it for them anyway. Maybe they have a lot on their mind. Give them a nice smile, too. YOU could be a really positive force in a stranger's day. It's a "pay it forward" thing, a blessing for someone else. Those blessings will come back to you.

I'm pretty sure I've always gotten a thank you from a stranger....my kids on the other hand? They are they ones I give a loud and sarcastic "You're welcome" to.....and depending on their mood I may get a "Sorry mom...thanks" or an equally sarcastic"Thanks"..when that happens, I let the next one slam in their little smartass faces....and dont freak out...omg ...they are teenagers...

Yeah, I live where there are a lot of retired people and they don't say thank you. I don't let it bother me, I am the one who chose to open the door, can't control if they are rude.
