Unfortunately for you Yamaha (and others) have a bad habit of discontinuing parts for older bikes. Although there are still plenty of generic parts available (tires brakes chains sprockets seat covers etc etc). If you need engine parts and the like, try going on www.ebaymotors.com find motorcycle parts and accessories then go to asian then search yamaha or even xs750. Also look into yahoo groups, do the xs750 Yamaha search again, I'll bet you'll be able to find a group for them. Another source could be www.vjmc.com (vintage japanese motorcycle club) which should be a wealth of info, good luck.

The 750 had a couple of problems which got fixed on the 850. All he faults should have been fixed under warrant or withing a few years of launch(transmission, generator) The carbs are Hitachi and spares are not too easy to find although K&L Supply company (suppliers to motorcycle shops, trade only) list some parts.
Its an interesting bike, good tourer/cruiser
