I had the same skates, I think they were called Silver Dollar, I don't know where the silver comes from though, they were yellow and blue.
I too loved my bike, a racer, I wanted a chopper but I went through the handle bars of a friends once and smashed up my face, so my mum wouldn't let me have one.

Well we all had bikes and skates but one day we found a tyre so we attached some rope onto it then put the tyre on a skate board and one of us would sit on the tyre and someone else would hold onto the other end of the rope and pedal their bike and drag you along.
See, we had fun before playstations and x-boxes etc! Ok so more chance of broken bones but at least we were out in the fresh air rather than cooped up in rooms on our computers.
God i sound old!

It was my Raleigh Chopper, one of the original purple ones with a 3 gear lever on the crossbar. I'd attached two big six volt batteries to the small luggage rack behind the seat and installed a car radio between the upswept handlebars. It weighed a lot, but I was so cool... well I thought so!

blimey that's a loaded question, answer could be miles long. I loved riding my bike, going swimming, hanging out with my friends. I feel sorry for kids these days as the freedom I had as a kid seems to have gone. I was going on red bus rovers (I live in London, UK) before 11, and I come from a strict family, not one who lefts the kids out day and night.

My skates, bike, and jump rope ("Cinderella, dressed in yella, went upstairs to kiss her fella")
We also used our imaginations! Star Wars (I always got to be Princess Leia, since I was the only girl), Bionic Man/ Bionic Woman, Battlestar Galactica, etc.
We would play until our moms called or until the street lights came on, then it was time to head back home!

I went through phases where both were my favourites.
I loved going really fast on my bike and racing my mates. We used to pretend we were the 3 musketeers and the bikes were our horses. Daft I know but it was great fun!!!
