they survived and prospered long before we did and their old ways were kind to Mother Earth...why we ever tried to make white men out of them I will never understand, all we did was destroy a beautiful way to live...look at them now...tell me honestly if they are better off...

I think I would be better off to live like the American Indian and let the rest of the world do what it likes. This is an individualist question.

I'm Native American, and there's really no one way we all live or think. There are over 500 separate nations, each with a distinct culture, appearance, language etc.--just like countries, really. Therefore, it's impossible for me to say which of those would be better. And for the person who said we were sexist, mine were and are a matriarchal society.
Also, we didn't "war with each other." That would be like saying all Europeans warred among themselves, although they're obviously divided into separate nations. You wouldn't say "the whites fought with themselves all the time," right folks?

i think america would be a better place if everyone was allowed to live in whatever way they see fit that doesnt directly or indirectly harm or place in danger any other human being that is not a willing participant....we have too many laws and too many morals about what someone else is doing.....and what we really want to do would shock the world...if you want to live like the native americans.....you should....i support you.

Native Americans did have a lot of wars, but some tribes were peaceful. Natives were very respectful to the earth and appreciated everything it had to give. I think if people followed that way of life today, the world would be a much cleaner place and we wouldn't have to worry about pollution or what not. They were also much more respectful to their elders and parents.

our way of think-is what time we leavin for the casino? gotta go to wal-marts to buy a tent for pow wow. butcher that cow/buffalo out before this weekend!!! dont waste any part of it either...we all gotta pile into the car(all ten of us/at 300+ each)...gotta get to the commodidty warehaus to get our government groceries,,,on the list...canned beef soakt in fat..canned pork stathered in big hunks of juicy fats and salt so we get the diabetes and heart clogs/compliments of the uncle sam aholes...who GOVERN our food...YESS I THINK Y'ALL SHOULD LIVE LIKE US NATIVE AMERICANS...

they were quite violent with all the fight and the wars.
but their concept on nature is very special and i like it a lot.
they respect nature and they adapted to the environment.
today..human mess with nature and make nature adapt to human..pathetic...
