this is the hole story.i connect my pc and laptop with a crossover cable and now i can share any files through that....but i cant ever share the internet connection...and i play real war multiplayer but ..bt its not detecting my pc or laptop ..snd me the answres with steps ..consider i just reformt my computer and just put the cable butween them(no connection made) then send my the answers guys..thx

Some games do not work with crossover cables. The best is, get a router if you are using cable or dsl Internet. If you use a dailup, for cheaper alternative, by a switch. There is no other solution.
