I have about 200 National Geographic magazines dating back to the mid 1950s. Does anyone know what they're worth? Thanks.

Hi, I can not answer you, I was about to post the exact question but did a search first! My gut reaction is there is no worth except maybe for pristine really old ones, I've seen old copies in elementary schools for the children to cut pictures for different geography projects. I want them out of my basement but not if they are valuable and I can sell them. Basically, I"m saying 'good question' and i"ll be watching for someone more informed than me!!! is there an 'antiques or 'collectibles' catagory this could go into?? good luck to us both!

Supply & demand - who doesn't have a stack of old National Geographics in their house? Abe Books is one of the bigger used and historic book seller - on their site, Nat. Geo. magazines from the 1950s sell for around $2.00 each.
