Male rape is a growing problem. I interviewed a gentleman who spoke to the Senate commission on the Prison Rape Elimination Act and he enlightened me on a lot of the issues going on in this country. It's a good topic. I'm working on an article regarding male rape and it amazes me how many people don't think about it happening.

Prisons do have a lot of rape cases but, unlike female victims who are not incarcerated, the men are usually raped numerous times compared to just one so the statistics are badly skewed when you look at number of victims instead of number of incidents.

Go to google and type in 'male rape'. You'll be surprised how many sites are out there. Also spr.org is a good place to look. That's specifically designed to discuss the problems in prisons.

Good luck with your project.

I'm not really sure what you're looking for here, but i would try googling "male-male rape". I found some things that might get you started.
This is probably the most useful, and also has citations that you could research for other information:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Male_rape_research

Interesting link, a bit dated, but still useful:
http://www.bibble.org/misc/male_male_rape.html

This should give you some further leads if you use the bibliography at the end:

Very thorough:

Intriguing, don't know if so useful though:

If you want something legal, Oncale v. Sundowner is a case where straight male coworkers harassed, physically assaulted and threatened to rape another male (gay) coworker.

If you are doing research then you have discovered that rape is about control and power not about sex. The sex act is merely the weapon. Its not any different with men, rape is rape.

Usually in cases of Gay Bashing, The offender would rape the homosexual being bashed. Therefore taking out his hidden Homoerotic desires out on someone who was openly gay.
Or in cases of Jail in which its nothing but gay by Circumstance. Men could please themselves by themselves but after a while it starts to look good when other people there are willing to do it with you or for you. So men engage in homosexual sex while locked up.

All rape is about power and control over another person. I am a guy and I was raped by another guy. It wasn't for any type of sexual pleasure on his part, but to have power and control over me.
