All kinds of GI upset seem to be common with pregnancy. Be sure to eat a balanced diet, drink lots of water. Fluid needs are so much more for pregnant women. Minimize your caffeine, sugar and greasy foods. Eat lots of vegetables (at least 3 servings/d) and 2 servings of fruit/d. Take your prenatal vitamins and get lots of protein in your diet. Eating healthy should balance out your GI problems. I had very bad heartburn during my pregnancy, but no constipation nor diarrhea and I ate very healthy. Now my son is 3 1/2 months old and I'm only 2 lbs away from my pre-pregnancy wt. All those things helped in having a healthy pregnancy. Good luck and congratulations!

You are going to have so many changes in your bowel that generally anything is normal.
Go to http://www.babycenter.com and join your birth group for your EDD. You can read posts, compare symptoms and ask away. You will be answered by those who are due the same month you are. It's an awesome board and they also email you updates each month on your pregnancy, how far along the baby is, what you should expect, etc.
CONGRATS!

Congrats!
Frequent and watery bowel movements or can be a symptom of infection or food poisoning or colitis or a gastrointestinal tumour....can be the reason of diarrhea! its better to ask or consult the doctors rather than asking us because the ratio will be 50:50 as some will say yes and some will say NO!

Hi there -
Well I can't answer for everyone but i can tell you that at the beginning of my last pregnancy I had a lot of diarrhoea. The doctor told me it was my bodies way of cleaning itself out in readiness for what was to come. He advised me to drink lots of fluids.
Enjoy it (if you can) because by the time i hit 6 months i had to the complete opposite and so so constipated that I had to have regular enema's and that is something I wouldn't wish on anyone.

Most complain of constipation, but diarrhea can be normal for some, so long as its not accompanied w/ fever or severe abdominal cramping. Just be sure to keep yourself hydrated.

infants are curious at that age and hear lots from classmates (particular! at that age) and p.c. to test. i might take a seat her down and clarify which you do no longer p.c. her on your room at evening and that it particularly is irrelevant habit for her to fondle all and sundry at the same time as they're sound asleep. you do no longer would desire to experience violated and disgusted; you have been asleep and he or she interestingly would not understand extra useful. check along with her. do no longer enable disgust which you will experience enter into the communication. stable success!

Congrats! Diarrehea is not a symptom of pregnancy, you probably just caught a stomache virus.
