The exclamation point is part of the trademark of the Yahoo! corporation. It's basically there to distinguish the corporate name from the word "yahoo". However, in everyday writing, pretty much no one uses the exclamation point as part of the name.

If you're going to type the name of the product correctly, you need to insert the exclamation point too.

no need... but if you want to emphasize on an expression such as Yahoo! I think it would be better to put an exclamation point ^^,

It's not necessary...yahoo is understood throughout the world...the ! doesn't make a difference
