6 years.

First, if you are taking remedial classes it will add a year. Then, most students take 5 years to graduate, especially if they are working while in school or in a more demanding program.

It is worth it? Statistically, yes, surveys show that you increase your earning power significantly over your life time by going to college. However, there is plenty of cases of successful people who never went or never finished college. If you are intelligent and motivated, you may be able to succeed without a college degree. But, I still think you should at least start the program to help you make that decision.

Maybe 24 or 25 if you work hard and are going full time.

YES it is definitly worth it. My husband is a little older than you and he has regretted not going back to school before now. You pay could double by the time you graduate. A higher education is always worth it. I say GO FOR IT!!!

Just make sure that you do a transfer degree at the community college so that you don't get behind when you move to a 4 year university.
Good Luck, I'm sure you will do great.
