Its a java glitch I just tried and got right in,and this will work with all games!
JAVA has a small font glitch.Plus many other problems. If java is launching your games The coffee cup logo while loading. Go to start button, settings, go to control panel open internet options. advance tab,scroll down and see if msn VM is listed,if so, unclick the 2 java listed. Make sure JIT is checked, click apply then ok. This lets msn vm launch games. this will SPEED UP game loading time. i play games about every night with no problems using these settings. I'm having the same problem, the window comes up but the game room applet won't load, all I get is an X in the left hand corner too! I don't know if yahoo is working on the system or what. But they need to do something. Good Luck!

yip same here, have been finding the lag really bad past few days and today i cant even get connected to it
