Well you should eat healthy food..

But most of all make your sis the food she likes. She will have desire to eat different variety of food. Also her desire will change daily or probably hourly.

Try not to force her to eat something that she does not want to eat.

She should also eat 1 banana and 1 apple daily - which will provide her with sufficient potasium and Iron need for the babys growth. She would also need protein - bean or energy drink like Boost or something. Also at least 2 glasses of milk daily.

Finally try not to make extremely spicy food..

Lastly, In any case keep your sister Happy. Babies growth and health will also depend on your sisters happiness.

I forgot, if she is vomitting a lot -- give her Gloucose Biscuit. It is extermely health and make sure she drinks water so she does not get dehydrated.

Wish your Sis good luck on my behalf and Congratulation in advance for being a MAMA. be ready to take responsibility.

Avoid raw meats like sushi, large amounts of Tuna (contains Mg) and alcohol.

Do make sure to have lots of fiber as you will get constipated. Eat healthy nutrient rich foods, drink your water, take your vitamin and drink orange juice. A well balanced diet will help you get your pregnancy off on the right foot. If you have bad snacking habits, now is a good time to nip them in the bud before you get farther along and become ravishingly hungry.

There are no specific things to eat in the first month, eat the normal amount of calories as the baby is not using them yet. Foods packed with protein, like peanut butter, are good.

Apart from the boring obvious answer of a normal healthy diet... In the first month (ie up to wk 6 of pregnancy as for two weeks, conception hasn't even occurred! Look at gestational dating to explain that one?) It doesn't matter with regards to what your baby will get from you as the placenta that links mum and babe isn't fully formed and functional until approx 8wks. But bear in mind the accuracy of the conception dates.

Stay away from greasy, spicy, and fried foods. Eat healthier. Food with vitamins, calcium, and low sodium, Make sure you take your prenatal pill, that has all the vitamins and minerals the baby needs. Eat more vegetables and fruits, wheat, and drink lots of water, and stay away from carbonated drinks and unpasteurized milk and foods. Drink low fat milk. Make sure your sister goes to every doctor's appointment. Your doctor should give her information on everything you need to know when you are
pregnant.

You can eat anything. But limit fats and salty food. Too much fat will make the baby increase in size than necessary and salty food may exacerbate an existing kidney disease.
