here's a couple things, completely different:
Last week's blizzard here in Oklahoma; at 3:00pm, 78 degrees. At midnight, 6 inches of sleet and snow, with more to come the next day.
Then the UCLA football win over USC, 13-9, last Saturday.

I live in Louisiana. The last amazing thing we experienced was Hurricane Katrina... but it was not in a good way!

Something about two minutes ago.
I work in a busy financial company and each month I have to fix this one idiot's mistakes - the same mistakes month after month.
This means I get behind on my work and then have to work like a possessed horse to meet my deadlines.
That person has now just announced that they are resigning!
Plus I know the person that they are hiring in her place and she is very competent so I'm feeling pretty glad!

Really seeing my daughter the other day ~ she was sitting in a chair and just had this certain look about her, I could actually see her at seventeen for just a brief minute(she's three) and it was definitely amazing!

Last night, my mother and I walked into a Gamestop and challenged the managers to some Wii Sports. For no reason. We got trounced but it was good fun. They recommended a good liquor store for us to go afterwards.

The birth of my grand daughter!! I was too busy to enjoy the birth of my own children, but watching her come into this world was unbelievable!!!
