I didnt get any stretch marks the whole time I was pregant. After I gave birth thats when they appeared. They were very light and barely noticeable. So I would say your pretty much in the clear.

Are you sure? I know someone who thought they got away with no stretchmarks, only to find out as soon as she gave birth that they were hiding on the underside of her belly...hehe
You may not get any, though (if not, lucky you!) or the last few weeks, in which baby will put on a few pounds, you could acheive your battle scars!!
However, don't believe the bollocks about all those "prevention" methods: oils, creams, butters...it's all in your genetics...nothing you can put on your skin will prevent you getting stretchies if you're body says you're going to get them, and nothing you can put on your skin will sink into the layers of skin that stretchmarks are actually made in. What you see isn't where the marks are made, it's just where the outermost layers sink into the "scratch" like marks made in the innermost layers.

Most legitimate research shows that strech marks are genetic, if your mom had them you might get them - there is also you dads side of the family to consider too if you have his skin. You might be pretty good if youve made it this far, or you might notice them after you give birth. Have you done anything special - I am one month along and would like to know what your secret is.

I didn't get any on my tummy till my last month, but I got some on my breasts 3 days after baby was born (When my milk came) . There's heaps of products you can use, but Palmers Coco butter is my favourite.

I know this sounds weird coming from a bloke, but I have stretch marks. I had a huge sudden growth spurt as a kid leaving me with them. Keep an eye out for any sudden growth spurts of your child and heed the advice above!

you are pretty small with respect to your tummy size. I got them starting about 34-35 weeks. Of course, my tummy size increased about 3-4 inches during that time when my daughter made her final growth spurt. It has a lot to do with your baby's final size, my daughter was 8 lbs at 37 weeks when I had her. If your baby is smaller and you are younger and your skin more elastic, then you probably don't have much to worry about.

Cocoa Butter does not really prevent them. If you don't get streach marks then you are lucky. I have been told by my doctor that NOTHING you do can prevent them. It is genetic.
To answer your question, I didn't get them until about 7 months.

I never got any. I later found out that my mom had 5 kids and didn't have any either. Just one thing I've gotten lucky with in life!
