Avest and AVG are the best two free anti virus software. Just make sure there updated. I hear good things about nod32 as well. Sometimes you have to manually remove viruses. I have used tons of different AV's out there and not all of them can clean a 100%. So I doubt you will find one that will. You can always try to boot in safemode(f8 before windows boots) to try and remove it with the AV but it might not work. If it dosen't work then google with the name of the virus and the word remove in the search box. You will find a site that will describe what steps you need to do to remove it.

You should be able to go to Avast.com and download it. It gives you 60 days to try it out and then it will ask you for a product key code. The screen will ask you if you need to request one, click on yes, and enter your e-mail. It will send you the key code in your e-mail in a couple of days. Just enter it in then. Hope this helps!
