I used to have dial up BTOW with above. I now have BT broadband /do I need smart link with the broadband

BTOW keeps coming back on my network and internet connections although I have deleted it before

Deleting it may cause other unexpected problems. If it's not doing any harm, leave alone.

The Smartlink modem is a piece of hardware - so you can't remove it from your programmes!

If you are referring to software provided by BTOW, you can remove it using Add/Remove Programs. This won't remove the modem or the ability to use the modem with other programs.

(Don't remove the modem from the Device Manager page - if you do it'll just come back again automatically as Windows will automatically detect it).

If you're not using the 56k modem (which you're not, if you have a BBand connection), get rid. It won't cause problems if you go through the proper Windows deleting procedure, as it isn't anything to do with your PC operation.

I would keep it as you may need it if your broadband goes belly up

I would keep it for now you might go back to dial-up if there's a problem with your broadband

no you dont need it , delete via add/rempve progs and then reclaim your disc space
