ok so we are currently studying mars and think there might have once been life on mars, well, and this is just my theory!, what if we were the life on mars. what if mars was once populated by us and then one day we got so advanced and knew of earth and built up earth to withstand life, and mars like ran out of its natural resources and transported its people to here. i mean if u think the egyptians and stonehenge and a lot of other ancient structures were said to have been built by the aliens, but we are the aliens. over time the memory of the life on mars was lost and here they didn have anything like on mars so had to start from scratch and rebuild everything. but what if thats the truth we are just planet hopping aliens or something like this. i know this sounds crazy but it could be possible, we dont know for sure that it absolutely couldnt be possible. but does this sounds like it could be slightly possible? it does to me so call me crazy or w/e but its just my own theory.

no i was not on medications im just entitled to my own theory just like all u nutheads and your bible sh!t, and i know mars has carbon dioxide on it im not stupid, but trees breath carbon dioxide and give out air do they not. but after what like 7,000 years of being empty of life would cause things like that to dissappear, and like i stated NATURAL RESOURCES RAN OUT! that was hte whole basis of why they came here.

I can see your point. It's crazy but not totally unbelievable. It could of been so long ago that nothing of our life on Mars remains. And the people that were there, died off, leaving the truth out there. Anyway, the "aliens " out there just might be ourselves from the future or past. Just visiting after learning how to time travel. Trying to teach our world how to build things. I guess it could be slightly possible. I think you are totally sane, with some very interesting ideas. Never lose your creativity.

Interesting theory, but there are problems with it, especially considering the atmospheric differences between the two planets. The pressure of the martian atmosphere is less than that of earth, not to mention comprised mostly of carbon dioxide. It's also extremely cold on Mars. All of these factors would be detrimental to human life on the planet.
In response to your last insert, how do you consider it possible for human life to have lived on mars, when atmospheric pressure is too low to support life?

Ok, you're crazy.
But, I love Sci-fi and playing what "what if".
So....
If we built a society on Mars to the point of exhausting it's resources, there would be obvious proof, even after millions of years.
We have proof of meteorites landing here on Earth from a massive meteor strike on Mars.
What if, one of those meteorites contained microbes from Mars.
What if, we are Martians?
Also, this could have happened in reverse.
What if, an extinction level meteor strike on Earth catapulted microbes into space and they made their way to Mars.
What if, life continued on Mars based on these Earth based microbes, but couldn't make it because Mars just couldn't sustain life anymore.
We should find evidence of parallel evolution on Mars.

Actually, I beleive we came from Jupiter. One day someone said, "Ya know, this planet really blows" and everyone agreed. So then they starting looking for some other place to hang they're hats, which I'd say were probally funny looking hats, anywho they eventually found "Earth", which was named after that guy who came up with the idea to move to another planet. Ymmij Earth was his name. Mars? Come on! that's crazy.

That's an interesting theory but i don't buy it. However if you're going through a mars phase then i suggest you read this book. It's called The Season Of Passage and it was written by Christopher Pike. It ties in with your theory and is a darn good read.

that is not that crazy. i actually have a differing theory of the same thing but we came from Venus. and we had too many nuclear wars which is why its permanently covered in those gases and clouds. b4 the last human died out there we used our space technology to send babies into space, by the time they reached earth they had grown and had intelligence, but no knowledge of the previous world, and now life is repeating itself on earth, and we are slowly redicovering all these things like electricity and splitting the atom. i thought of this trying to explain deja-vu. and now the same thing with tryiong to set up life on mars, for when the nuclear war surely comes, it will all repeat again.

Do you ever listen to Coast To Coast?
its a radio show on Am radio stations in most cities in the U.S.
It is possible that mars was inhabited by humans of pre historice importance!
however, in this world all earthly inhabitants are declares "foreigners", until a person declares faith in jesus christ, according to the bible, we cannot become Citizens and saints in the kingdom of God.
There was a rebellion with one Angel that believed he could become God because of this BEING there is So much confusion and false testimony in the earth that it is almost incomprehensible to understand Truth from Lies

Yep, it's a theory! If this were true, what happened to the space craft and the history of our "old" civilization? Also, I think the Mars probes would have found signs that human life had existed there.

It's not a theory, it's an extremely speculative hypothesis. If there were a significant amount of evidence for what you're saying, critically reviewed and supported by scientists then it would be elevated to the level of theory.
