I've just now earned 15 days after working at the same place for 5 years. It's generally 10 days/ year vacation and 80 hours sick in the US. I need to move to Europe.

Hi, Nelli, in Spain, 31 paid days per year. Sick leave (paid) is indefinite, the Social Security doctor has the last word.

I'm from the USA and my company allows a week for Christmas holiday where the company will be shut down. Counting the PTO (paid time off) of 130 hours, the week off at Christmas, two days for Thanksgiving, Memorial Day, and Labor Day - it's a pretty good year. :)

In china, if you take a sick day , you just get to make it up after you get well, you'll recieve your regular pay. For holidays it's the same, for example if monday and tuesday are holidays, you must work extra on saturday and sunday, go figure. what's a holiday or sick day.

As many as I want, because I am a homemaker :) But anyway I just wanted to let you know that I answered your question about not getting paid and being bored because I am a housewife. I hope that helps clear things up :)
