I recently discovered that I am an Emo; I've never realised it before, but I realised that by being over-sensitive I've ruined my social growth. How can I become normal?

Emo doesnt mean emotional. And emotional doesnt mean sad.
Incase you didnt know. ;-)
Being over-sensitive doesnt mean youre not normal, everyone is different. Its not a bad thing either, and it will only ruin your "social growth" if you let it.

Not sure what your age is, but if you are pretty young which I'm assuming (and sorry if I'm wrong) you are just ending one of the many phases we go through in life and perhaps beginning another. Broaden your horizons; don't get locked into a group. Just be who you are and you'll be fine. I find that saying things like "I'm an Emo" or "I'm a Goth" and etc. keep you in a certain stage of development, and you don't want that. Be open and change all the time, just as the world around you does.

Ha ha ha... this is funny. You should be a classical person. Not just listening to classical music; listening to all kinds of music, reading different kinds of books, watching old movies, making new friends, wearing classic-style clothes, and acting like a classic gentleman. Sorry, does EMO mean emotional? In that case , I think I'm overemotional too! Apart from other problems it may cause, it certainly helps creativity, in my case! Which might not be too bad!
