Please do not use any of the above solutions. Any liquid or stain remover will just make it worse. An ink stain is about the worst you can get on suede and leather besides blood. Try a dry sponge or an eraser, if that doesn`t work you will have to have it cleaned by a dry cleaner specializing in suede and leather.

Try a patch test first, but methylated spirit is usually the best stuff for removing biro ink.

I think Kim and Aggie did this on How Clean Is Your House... if I remember correctly they used hairspray and a clean cloth. Try a patch inside for a colour test where it isn't seen first and if it's OK go for the stain.

had one of the before,got the stuff from woolworths,its a stain remover but for delicate surface etc,not sure if a rubber would remove,might be worth a go just tread carefull,but definetly woolies,have the stuff,if not wilkinson"s same as woolies really,hope this helps

not sure if it will work but i have been known to use brake cleaner to get fountain pen ink out of carpet it really worked well without tainting do a patch test first to see if it damages material.

I saw the same episode - they were working on a couch, and used hairspray and a soft cloth, took a bit of rubbing, but it worked.

hair spray does actually work. i tried it. just spray librally, give it a good rub, then wash itin the washing machine.
