I have a book of soccer clubs that played in brittain and it represents 36 clubs through out england and do all the 36 clubs still exist in 2006 .One of the clubs is CARDIFF C nicknamed bluebirds and i have every club name and nickname of football in england from 1959 .Why is the football world without the real world cup the JULES RIMET CUP and in my opinion just make another jules rimet cup and all there is now is a fifa cup.

hope this helps but you have a record of who played in the english leagues even though cardiff is welsh they play in an english league. the jules rime trophy was given to brazil after they won it three times. a new one had to crafted which is present today.

The Cardiff C is Cardiff City who are from Wales but play in the English leagues. They are actually doing really well at the moment.
The Jules Rimmet cup is the 1st World Cup. It is just the name of the cup. There is a different World Cup now. But it has always been and always will be the World Cup

you have a very old book my american friend...if it say's first division, second divsion, third division...it's already out of date, try getting something a bit more upto date (say from 2000 onwards)...there are 92 'professional' football/soccer clubs in the top four leagues in england
The world cup (albeit a new design) is still referred to as the Jules Rimet Trophy
