You should see a doctor and get it checked out. Many women bleed during pregnancy and have healthy babies, for some however, this could be a sign of a miscarriage or ectopic pregnancy. Your doc will do and ultra sound if he is worried. You can also call nhs direct for more advice.

I had two miscarriages as 12 and 10 weeks. You really don't want to take the chance.

Do you have an obstertrician yet????
If not go and see your Dr. bleeding in pregnancy is never really good and bleeding early in the first 14 wks can be very harmful if it is only spotting at the moment nip it in the but before anything more comes of it you might just have to rest up and take it easy..... When i was pregnant i never had blood until i was in labour but everyone is different... Definately consult a professional sweetie don't leave things to chance ok.......
take care of yourself and all the best.

Yes, it's absolutely normal. I would mention it to your doctor at your next appointment. As long as you're not actively bleeding you'll be fine. If it comes to the point to where it's more than just spots I would make a same day appointment or head to the ER. Active bleeding during pregnancy usually isn't a good thing. However, a bit of spotting is NORMAL.

I developed spotting around 6 weeks and at about 10weeks had a huge miscarriage. My doctor said the sac got ruprtured and caused the baby to stop growing at 6 weeks. Although some spotting is normal You should go get checked by your doctor just to make sure everything is ok.

First of all, you should report this to your OB or midwife. That being said. somewhere around the 6th week the egg will implant its self into the lining of your uterus. for some women this will cause some spotting. You should inform your doctor, but not be too worried. You should be concerned if your spotting is accompanied with pain or any other symptoms.

I had something similar, so it sounds normal to me. But if you're worried, have a word with your doctor or midwife. They'll be happy to have a check and set your mind at rest. (I did when it was me!)
